'We Jazz June' at Mesa Arts Center June 26

“We Jazz June” celebrates the power of sound at 7:30 p.m. June 26 at the Piper Repertory Theater at Mesa Arts Center, 1 E. Main St. in Mesa. $10. Lap children (2 and under) are free.

“Hello, summer! ‘We Jazz June’ is a celebration of freedom with a special musical and poetic tribute, as jazz and poetry meets the power of community leaders who advocate for the beauty in growth, change and creativity,” according to a release.
