    Mesa Parks and Recreation opens for fall program registration

    Taking place from August to October, the programs are offered to people of all ages and abilities. Activities include tennis, softball, cornhole, pickleball, water sports, flag football, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, yoga and more. There is also activities offered that are less sports adjacent including LEGO Roboteering, tai chi, dance, Dungeons & Dragons and more.

    “Mesa Parks and Recreation will also host special events such as the Goodbye Summer Swim Party on Aug. 10, Celebrate Mesa on Oct. 12 and Pumpkin Splash, which has expanded to two days on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26,” the press release from the city said.

    Registration is open for residents now and non-residents beginning at 8 a.m. July 15. The full list of programs and activities is available in the fall PLAYBOOK Magazine which can be viewed at https://www.mesaparks.com/sports-programs/activity-guide .
