The Ghosteater theater in Mesa is putting on its latest play — “Lungs,” a tale of climate change, body autonomy and more — starting July 19.

The play will be shown for five nights at the ASU MIX at 50 N. Centennial Way. The showings will be on July 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27. Tickets range from $12.50-$25.

“Lungs” was written by Duncan MacMillan. The synopsis of the show as described by Ghosteater’s website is: “So. Where do we go from here? The world is getting hotter, there’s unrest overseas — the seas themselves aren’t very calm — and one couple is thinking about having a child. ‘Lungs’ is a smart and funny drama that follows a couple through the surprising life-cycle of their relationship, as they grapple with questions of family and change, hope, betrayal, happenstance, and the terrible pain that you can only cause the people you love.”
