Escape Spine Surgery, a new spine health care facility, recently opened in Mesa.

The facility at 4860 E. Baseline Road was founded by Dr. James Adkins, a pioneer in multidisciplinary spine care and CEO of Arizona Pain Treatment Centers with over 25 years of experience in spine care; as well as Dr. Rafah Baig, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in medical care; and Dr. Azmi Nasser, a practitioner in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a medical director at Arizona Pain Treatment Centers, according to a release.

“At Escape Spine Surgery, we’re not just treating spine conditions; we’re transforming lives,” Adkins said. “Our goal is to provide patients with safer, less-invasive alternatives to surgery, empowering them to regain their health and mobility without the risks and uncertainties associated with traditional approaches.”

The press release said the clinic will offer holistic, patient-centered care focused on regenerative medicine and minimally invasive techniques. Services offered include diagnostic evaluations, conservative therapies, rehabilitative care and more. The treatment plans are personalized based on the needs of each patient. A team of neurologists, chiropractors, interventional pain physicians, physical therapists, spine surgeons and more collaborate to develop said plans for each patient.

“I am thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking venture with Escape Spine Surgery, where we are poised to raise the standard for spine care,” said Baig. “Our innovative approach, combined with a commitment to personalized, compassionate care, will empower patients to achieve optimal outcomes and reclaim their lives. I am excited to contribute my expertise to this transformative endeavor and help shape the future of spine health care.”

The treatment aims to find the root cause of spine conditions, and allowing the body to heal itself.

“Our approach is rooted in the belief that the body has an innate ability to heal itself. By harnessing the latest advancements in regenerative medicine and leveraging the body’s natural healing mechanisms, we’re able to achieve remarkable results for our patients,” Adkins said. “We believe in providing comprehensive, compassionate care that goes beyond symptom management. Our mission is to empower patients to live their lives to the fullest, free from the limitations of chronic pain and dysfunction.”
