GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in the connected lakes area after reports of someone was seen dragging a dog behind a car. Witnesses saw a dog being dragged while tied to the back of a vehicle. 66-year-old Melton Brown was taken into custody after several witnesses saw him dragging a dog behind his vehicle while driving.
