ATV rider shoots man who asked him not to ride by canal; arrest made
OTHELLO - Deputies say 21-year-old Othello man is in jail after he shot and injured a person on the outskirts of the city on Thursday. At around 9 p.m., Adams County Sheriff's officials say the suspect, Jesse Alexandro Alcaraz, was riding an ATV on a path along a canal when he was confronted by a property owner who asked him not to travel past people's homes along the canal. In response to the confrontation, Alcaraz allegedly drew a firearm and shot the adult male who made contact with him in the 600 block of Kaylee Road in Othello. Alcaraz was arrested by deputies at the scene and faces a first-degree assault charge. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

Person reportedly arrested in connection to 250-acre fire threatening homes in Wenatchee
WENATCHEE - The Balsamroot Fire has now engulfed 250 acres, posing a significant threat to the Wenatchee area. A suspect, believed to have started the fire with fireworks, is currently in custody, although Chelan County Sheriff's Office has not released further details. Teen accused of deadly WA mall shooting released
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - The teenager suspected of a deadly shooting at Alderwood Mall on Wednesday has been released from custody, officials said Friday. The Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office confirmed Friday that the 16-year-old suspect bonded out of jail.
