Four file for three Virginia City Council seats

VIRGINIA—One incumbent and three challengers filed Tuesday to fill three, four-year seats on the Virginia City Council.

Incumbent Steven B. Johnson filed, as did Ricky Angellar, Rodney Salo and Jared Siebert.

Incumbents Julianne Paulsen and Carl Baranzelli had not filed as of Tuesday afternoon.

If a total of six or more candidates file, that would trigger a Primary Election on Aug. 13.

The General Election is set for Nov. 5.

Filings close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 4.
