American Legion Post 247 to host Memorial Day tribute

CHISHOLM—American Legion Press-Lloyd Post 247 of Chisholm is hosting a Memorial Day tribute to honor all soldiers who have died while serving our country.

The program starts at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27, in the Veterans area on the south side of Calvary Cemetery in Chisholm.

In case of rain, the program will move indoors to the Chisholm Senior Citizen Center.

Post 247 Commander Brad Castagneri is the keynote speaker. Master of Ceremony is William Hanegmon of Post 247.

Dave Pessenda, also of Post 247 is also speaking.

The Chisholm High School Band, under the direction of Ryan Freitas will perform patriotic music.

Soloists are William Butchwitz singing The National Anthem, and Castagneri, “God Bless The U.S.A.”

Placing of the wreath in memory of fallen veterans is by Dominic Pacuzzi and Logan Anderson.

Refreshments and treats are being served following the program at the Chisholm Senior Center.
