Governor stops at Iron Range Tykes

Gov. Tim Walz is shown reading to several children at Iron Range Tykes in Mountain Iron Thursday. Iron Range Tykes CEO/Director Shawntel Gruba said Walz stopped by while in the area to thank early educators for going down to the State Capitol on Monday and also to read to the kids, which was "really cute.'' The early educators were in St. Paul to express the importance of childcare and early childhood education on the Range, along with the funding needed for that.
