MESOPOTAMIA, Ohio (WKBN) — Get ready for some good food and live entertainment. An event that draws thousands of visitors to Northwestern Trumbull County kicked off on Friday.

The 51st annual Mesopotamia Ox Roast started at 10 o’clock this morning.

There will be more than 160 vendors, live entertainment and of course the famous roast beef sandwiches.

The 3-day festival near the intersection of State Route 5-34 and 87 draws more than 20-thousand people each day.

All proceeds benefit the township’s fire department.
