    Exciting I-30 improvements to be unveiled for Dallas County

    DALLAS (KDAF) — The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on July 11 to discuss improvements coming to a 12-mile stretch of Interstate 30, affecting Dallas, Mesquite, and Garland.

    The proposed project plans to expand I-30 to six to 12 main lanes, with three to six travel lanes in each direction. Plus, they’re adding a 10-foot shared path for cyclists and pedestrians, up to two reversible managed lanes, and two to three frontage road lanes each way!

    Here are two ways to catch the action:

    In-person event: From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mesquite Arts Center (1527 N. Galloway Ave), featuring a live presentation at 6 p.m.

    Virtual event: Available anytime from 5 p.m. on July 11 through 11:59 p.m. on July 26. Just click here to join the virtual meeting.
