Excessive Heat Alerts are in place across all of Washington, most of Oregon and Idaho this week as triple-digit temperatures arrive during the first heat wave of the year. From Saturday to Friday, the Inland Northwest will be under either an Excessive Heat Warning or Advisory as daytime highs reach well into the 90s and triple digits, especially by Tuesday and Wednesday -- Spokane is under the warning. Sunday's forecast highs will trend in the low-to-high 90s for most of eastern Washington and North Idaho, with Spokane's high temperature expected to reach 96 degrees.
