Rain Piles Up Sunday Night Into Monday Morning
While you may have slept right through it, showers and storms Sunday night into early Monday filled up the ole rain gauge. According to trained weather spotters, 2.5 inches of rain was measured overnight in Princeton. Just shy of 2 inches of rain was reported in La Moille while about an inch and a half was measured in Spring Valley, La Salle, Peru, Utica, Sparland, McNabb and Ottawa. A little less than an inch was picked up in the Starved Rock Media rain gauge in Oglesby.

PEORIA- Local queer author Joe Chianakas is anticipating the release of his newest novel, “Pride and Persistence”. “Pride and Persistence” is a sequel to his 2023 book “Singlets and Secrets”, which was his first published with Mad Cat.
