The Silver alert for 19 yr old Mia Wilson has been cancelled. Mia was located today around 4:15pm today in the area of New Castle, Indiana. The Greensburg Police Department would like to specifically thank the tipster who provided crucial early information that led to Mia’s whereabouts. They would also like to thank The Decatur County Communications Center, Decatur County Sheriff’s Dept., New Castle Police Dept., Forrest Park Ohio Police Dept., and Green Tree Ohio Police Dept. for their assistance in the investigation.

Gertrude Irene Martin (age 98) was a caring mother, successful business women, life-long volunteer, world travel, and dedicated friend. Trudy was born and raised on a small farm in Greensburg, IN. She was very close to her seven brothers and sisters, but the farm couldn’t keep her down. After graduating from Indiana’s New Point H.S., Trudy hopped in her car and headed west. Her journey took her to California where she met her future husband of 60 years, Clyde Martin. For the next 40 years, they made their home in Brea, CA.

Five cheerleaders attend UCA Camp
Five Connersville Lady Spartan cheerleaders earned All-American status at the 2024 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) camp at IU Bloomington last week. Olivia Becker, Lexi Gibson, Christian Laboyteaux, and Jocelyn Turney earned All-American status for the varsity team with Bella Mitchell being named JV All-American. The CHS varsity team took first-place in the Cheer Division, second in Stunt Sequence and in camp routine/pyramid and earned a specialty trophy for Best Transition.
