2nd Annual Children’s Fishing Rodeo Held at Somerville Moose Lodge
Somerville Moose Lodge Moose Legion Committee sponsored the 2nd Annual Children’s Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, June 29th at the Moose Lodge lake. Thirteen boys and girls had lots of fun with their parents as they cast their hooks for the First Fish Caught, the Biggest Fish, the Most Fish, the Smallest Fish and the Last Fish Caught in two age groups. Medallions were awarded to the winners in each category. Gift certificates and fishing tackle were given out as “door prizes.” Children, parents, and Moose volunteers were treated to burgers, hotdogs, chips, and plenty of cold water throughout the day.

Erica Johnson to Boston University School of Theology
Erica Johnson is appointed adjunct instructor of organ for the Master of Sacred Music program of Boston University School of Theology, Boston, Massachusetts. A church musician and performer, she has taught at Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts, since 2019. She previously taught at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Salem College, both in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Oberlin Conservatory, Oberlin, Ohio; and she designed and taught the graduate course in organ literature at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York, for two years during her doctoral studies.
