Uh Oh: Rapper Travis Scott Arrested on Disorderly Intoxication Charge in Miami Beach

Another day another arrest. This time taller Travis Scott found himself in legal trouble early Thursday morning as he was arrested on a disorderly intoxication charge in Miami Beach, Florida.

According to jail booking records, the 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was taken into custody and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 4:30 a.m. In addition to the disorderly intoxication charge, he was also charged with trespassing property after warning.

So what the heck happened? A person had called dispatch saying people were fighting on the vessel. Apparently cops found Scott “standing by the dock yelling at the vessel occupants.” At first Scott complied with police commands to sit down, but then he disregarded them. The complainant told police he actually did not want to press changes, and just wanted the rapper off of the vessel.

The affidavit said, “Officers could sense “a strong smell of alcohol coming from the defendant’s breath. After leaving the marina he returned and began yelling once again — “becoming erratic” and “disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings causing a public disturbance,” the affidavit said. From there, he was taken into police custody custody at 1:17 a.m. Scott later admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and stated “It’s Miami.”

However, Travis Scott wasted no time in resolving the matter as he submitted a bond of $650. It is expected that he will be released from custody soon.

This news of his arrest comes at a crucial time, just eight days before he is scheduled to kick off his highly anticipated European tour, Circus Maximus, in The Netherlands next Friday.

This latest situation comes just weeks after he got into an altercation in Cannes with Tyga and Alexander Edwards. However, no charges were filed against anyone.

A rep for the rapper, who shares two children with beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, namely Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2, has not released a statement regarding his latest arrest.
