Garden-style apartments planned near future rapid transit system in Miami-Dade
Canero Group wants to rezone a property in the southern Miami-Dade County neighborhood of Naranja to build apartments. The Coral Gables-based developer, through affiliate 278 ST Development LLC, filed a small-scale land use amendment with county officials for the 2.67-acre site at the southeast corner of Southwest 278th Street and Southwest 154th Avenue. It purchased the vacant property for $537,500 in 2023.
