Ahead of their showdown at UFC 299 this weekend, Kevin Holland and Michael "Venom" Page had their first interaction.

In one of many intriguing matchups scheduled for Saturday's stacked pay-per-view event in Miami, Florida , Holland is tasked with welcoming Page to the Octagon for the very first time.

While the #13-ranked Holland is a veteran of the promotion, Page is crossing over having competed under the banner of Bellator for a decade, during which he made his name as a showman with a host of highlight reel knockouts.

Now, in pursuit of the title glory he failed to achieve in Bellator and a potential blockbuster all-British showdown with Leon Edwards down the line , "MVP" will bring his electric and entertaining brand of striking to new surroundings.

After announcing his signing, CEO Dana White insisted that Page would experience all that comes with being a UFC fighter, and judging from his comments this week, the Londoner is feeling a major difference.

And when it comes to the benefits a UFC signing brings, Holland is also no stranger...

Holland Relates To Page Experiencing UFC Upgrade

In a recent clip uploaded to Page's YouTube channel, the former Bellator star can be seen meeting his upcoming opponent for the first time during an interaction in Miami.

While Holland has had some fight week bust-ups in the past with the likes of Khamzat Chimaev , it was all respect as he and "MVP" embraced one another.

And before parting ways, "Trailblazer" took the time to ask the UFC newcomer how he's enjoying life under his new banner, even detailing his own feelings when competing for the promotion following an appearance for Bellator.

"Hey, how are you enjoying the UFC so far? ... I fought for Bellator like one time. It was cool. I fought this guy, he was on a good little streak, it was fun. It was a really cool experience, but then I got here and I was like, 'Okay, okay, I see what the f*ck they're saying!' It's a little nice, it's a little nice."

It's clear that there's no bad blood between the pair ahead of their collision at the Kaseya Center on Saturday night.

But that will certainly not stop the pair from throwing down, and Page from looking to make a statement in his first chance to impress on the sport's biggest stage.
