Turkish Restaurant and Venue Coming to Miami as KURK

Founded in Izmir, Türkiye by Ragıp Can Kutsal , Kürkçu Dükanni will soon open its first U.S. location in Miami , under the name KURK . The restaurant is planned at 261 NE 73 ^rd St. , in the building currently occupied by Lemon City Studios , according to a recently submitted plan review.

“My goal was for people to be able to find both food and music in one place and spend the night without having to rush from place to place,” Ragıp Can Kutsal said in an interview with YuzuMagazine.com . “For this reason, we included sophisticated dishes cooked on an open fire that promise an exceptional experience.”

The Izmir restaurant and venue’s menu features meat choices like the Wet Aged T-Bone, Lamb “tandır” ( ‘dolma’ stuffed dry eggplant with mushroom and rice, lamb jus ), and Wagyu Carpaccio. There are also shareables like Burnt Yoghurt & Grilled Green Bean, Brie & Honey, and Smoked Tomato.

It is not yet known how closely the KURK menu will match that of its sister restaurant.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the restaurant on Monday. The representative said Kurk is still about 15 months from opening. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
