Marina Village at Bahia Mar will soon start rolling out its long-awaited food hall concepts. The food hall is expected to open in May with roughly half of its food vendors in operation, says recent coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel , while the rest will open later in the summer.

The new food hall will feature concepts like dumpling brand Yip , Blue Steel Pizza Co. , Fresh Garden Bowls , and Burgers & Shakes . Three additional concepts were announced last month : Taco Vibez , Sushi Song , and Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls .

Let’s take a closer look at a few of these brands.

One of South Florida’s favorite sushi bar concepts, Sushi Song already has ten locations in operation, including in Oakland Park , South Beach , and Hollywood (along with one location already open in Fort Lauderdale .) The Marina Village location will be the brand’s eleventh.

“Since 2009 we’ve been combining the sultry and exotic flavors of South Florida nightlife with a New York ambiance,” says the Sushi Song website. “With both indoor and outdoor dining, sushi lovers can enjoy the tropical climate while tickling their taste buds. Sushi Song is a famous sushi restaurant that’s open late for local industry types and those that burn the candle at both ends.”

The menu at the current Fort Lauderdale location features Song’s Signature Rolls like A1A ( Maine Lobster, Avocado, Cilantro, Spicy Mayo I/O Topped with Seared Salmon and House Special Sauce ), Japan Red Hot ( Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, Jalapeno I/O Topped with Tuna, Black Tobiko and House Special Sauce ), and SoBe ( Tuna, Avocado, Masago, Scallion, Spicy Mayo I/O topped with Seared Tuna and Special Garlic Truffle Oil Sauce ). There’s also a selection of appetizers like Edamame, Gyoza, Shumai, and Spicy Tuna Tartar ( Spicy Tuna topped with Black Tobiko, Scallion served with Crackers ).

What Now reached out to owner Wijai Ketsuwan on Friday to ask about the details on the Marina Village location’s menu. Ketsuwan was not immediately available for comment.
