The flag, barbecue and fireworks. It’s just not the Fourth of July without all three! American flags and hot dogs are easy enough to find, but where do you go to see some fireworks?
Here is a list of Fourth of July fireworks shows in Miami-Dade, Broward and the Florida Keys. All the shows are on Thursday, July 4, and free unless otherwise noted.
Miami-Dade County
Aventura
What: Independence Day Fireworks Celebration
When: 9 p.m.
Where: Along Country Club Drive by the Turnberry golf course, which is behind the Aventura Mall at Northeast 195th Street off Biscayne Boulevard.
Bayfront Park
What: Bayfront Park’s Fourth of July celebration features a hot dog eating contest, fireworks, and live musical performances from U.S. Navy Brass Band, Aymée Nuviola, The Latin Divos and others.
When: 4-9 p.m.
Where: Bayfront Park, 301 N. Biscayne Blvd., Miami
Brownsville
What: The 20th annual Fourth of July Family Fest will feature free food for kids and seniors (on a first come first serve basis), as well as a DJ and fireworks.
When: 4-9 p.m.
Where: Charles Hadley Park, 1350 NW 50th St., Miami
Coconut Grove
What: This Fourth of July Celebration features a performance from the Miami Symphony Orchestra and a fireworks show.
When: The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Peacock Park, 2820 McFarlane Rd., Miami
Coral Gables
What: The City of Coral Gables and the Biltmore Hotel’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration will feature performances from the Navy Band Southeast and the Greater Miami Symphonic Band.
When: The event will open at 5 p.m. The Greater Miami Symphonic Band concert will begin at 7 p.m. and the final fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.
Where: The Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables
Hialeah
What: The City of Hialeah is hosting a fourth of July celebration with drinks, food trucks, fireworks, and live musical performances from El Chulo, DJ Yus and Orlando Mendez.
When: 4-10 p.m.
Where: Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave., Hialeah
Homestead
What: The “Race to the Fourth” celebration will have games, rides, food, live music and fireworks.
When: 6-10 p.m.
Where: Homestead-Miami Speedway, 1 Ralph Sanchez Blvd., Homestead
Key Biscayne
What: The 46th annual Key Biscayne Fourth of July parade will have floats, bands and even a fighter-jet flyover. The festivities will close with fireworks at the beach.
When: The parade begins at 11 a.m. and the fireworks are anticipated to start between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
Where: The parade will move down Crandon Boulevard, from Harbor Drive to West Enid Drive.
Miami Gardens
What: Miami Gardens Fourth of July Food Trucks and Fireworks celebration will also have a DJ, bounce houses and a raffle.
When: The event opens at 5 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Where: Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199 St., Miami Gardens
Miami Lakes
What: The Miami Lakes Fourth of July celebration will feature live music and food trucks, capping off with a fireworks display.
When: The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks start at 9 p.m.
Where: Veterans Park, 15151 NW 82nd Ave., Miami Lakes
Miami Springs
What: Miami Springs Fourth of July celebration features a pool party, a parade and fireworks.
When: The parade begins at 10 a.m., the pool party is from noon until 5 p.m., and the fireworks display kicks off at dusk.
Where: The parade will move east on Westward Drive before heading south on Curtiss Parkway. The pool party will be held at the Miami Springs Aquatic Center, 1401 Westward Dr, Miami Springs. The fireworks will be at the Miami Springs Golf Course, 650 Curtiss Pkwy., Miami Springs.
Miami River
What: The Free Independence Day community celebration organized by District 3 Commissioner Joe Carollo will feature food, games and fireworks.
When: The event begins at 4 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
Where: Jose Marti Park, 351 SW Fourth Ave., Miami
North Beach
What: Miami Beach will kick off its Fire on the Fourth celebration with food trucks, an obstacle course, and even a rock climbing wall. The event will also feature musical performances and will be capped off by a drone and firework show.
When: The activities start at 3 p.m., live music starts at 5 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Where: Altos Del Mar Park, 241 77th St., Miami Beach
Palmetto Bay
What: The Palmetto Bay Independence Day celebration will have food, fireworks and live music, including a performance by the Cutler Stew Band.
When: 5-9 p.m.
Where: Palmetto Bay Village Hall, 9705 E. Hibiscus St., Palmetto Bay
South Beach
What: The annual Independence Day fireworks and patriotic concert will feature the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Orchestra. RSVP to receive email updates about the event.

Surfside
What: Surfside’s Fourth of July celebration will have swim races, a live band, a DJ and drone show and fireworks display. The event is free for Surfside residents and $5 for non-residents
When: The festivities begin at 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Westchester
What: The Fourth of July celebration in Tropical Park also serves as the kickoff of National Park and Recreation Month.
When: 4-10 p.m.

Fort Lauderdale
What: Fort Lauderdale’s Independence Day celebration includes waterslides, fireworks, and a performance from the R&B group En Vogue.
When: Noon through 9:15 p.m.

Hollywood
What: The Fourth of July Star Spangled Spectacular in Hollywood will feature a DJ, live music, and a fireworks display.
When: 6-10 pm.. The fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Miramar
What: Miramar’s Independence Day celebration will have food trucks, a kids zone, and fireworks!
When: Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and fireworks kick off at 8:30 p.m.

Pompano Beach
What: The July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular will feature DJ Mike Cooley and live music from Pan Paradise.
When: The event begins at 5 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Sunrise
What: Sunrise’s Fourth of July celebration will include an ‘80s freestyle concert with DJ Johnny Drama as well as a fireworks show.
When: 6-10 p.m. The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

The Florida Keys
Key Largo
What: Key Largo’s Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks promises food, drink and a “special Kidz Zone.”
When: The parade begins at 11 a.m. The event begins at 5 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for 9:15 p.m.
Where: The parade begins outside Anthony’s Ladies Apparel, 98200 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, and ends at Laguna Drive. The fireworks display will take place at Rowell’s Waterfront Park, 104550 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo.
Key West
What: Rotary Club of Key West Fourth of July Celebration.
When: 5-10 p.m.
Where: Edward B. Knight Pier, 1899 White St., Key West
Islamorada
What: Islamorada promises “family fun, food, and fireworks” including a “patriotic people & puppy parade.” Admission is free with a $10 “donation” for parking.
When: 6-10 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk.
Where: Founders Park, 87000 Overseas Hwy., Islamorada
Marathon
What: Marathon’s Fourth of July event boasts a parade and fireworks.
When: The parade begins at 11 a.m. and the fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m.
