It's a Miami foodie's favorite time of year: Miami Spice returns next month with discounted meals at some of the city's best restaurants.
Why it matters: You can finally try that Michelin-starred restaurant for date night without breaking the bank.
State of plate: Running from Aug. 1-Sept. 30, Miami Spice Restaurant Months features over 250 local restaurants and is organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.
- Enjoy prix fixe, three-course meals for as little as $30 each for lunch or brunch and up to $60 each for dinner. (Taxes and gratuity not included)
- Each menu comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert. Order drinks separately and remember to ask your waiter for the Miami Spice menu.
⭐️ Star power: There are two Michelin-starred restaurants on this year's list: Cote Miami and Le Jardinier Miami , both located in the Design District.
- Cote is offering a $35 lunch menu Monday-Friday featuring dishes like tuna tartare, prime rib on a french baguette and vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel for dessert.
- Le Jardinier has a $35 lunch and $60 dinner Monday-Sunday, featuring menu items like a salmon tartare, suckling pig porcetta and a chocolate salted caramel tart.
✨ Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient Chug's Diner and one-time Bib Gourmand winner Red Rooster Overtown are also participating in Miami Spice this year.
👀 Other notable restaurants include Beauty and the Butcher , Bunbury and Joe's Stone Crab.
- Nightlife impresario Dave Grutman has a number of his restaurants taking part, including Papi Steak , Komodo and Gekko , his collaboration with reggaeton artist Bad Bunny.
