The Miami Dolphins are moving quickly to line up a replacement for retiring edge rusher Shaquil Barrett.

Miami will host free agent pass rushers on Monday, including former Dolphin Emmanuel Ogbah and former Jaguar Yannick Ngakoue, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Rosenhaus, who represents all three of the aforementioned players, said on WSVN late Sunday night he was surprised to learn Barrett was retiring on the eve of training camp.

Shaq Barrett retires, but who can replace him?

But Barrett has decided it's time to focus on family.

The Dolphins let Ogbah, 30, go this offseason in a salary-cap related move.

But Ogbah has had 24.5 sacks in four seasons with Miami and he may be a good fit for the defense orchestrated by incoming coordinator Anthony Weaver.

Ngakoue, 29, has had 31.5 sacks over the last four seasons, playing for Minnesota, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Indianapolis and Chicago.

Ngakoue played the first four seasons of his career with the Jaguars.

Jaelan Phillips, Bradley Chubb injuries concern Miami Dolphins

Jaelan Phillips (Achilles) and Bradley Chubb (knee) are starting training camp on Wednesday on the physically unable to perform list.

Miami needs to add an edge rusher to complement rookies Chop Robinson and Mo Kamara.
