Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill is ready to give his list of demands to Miami ownership as he searches for a new contract, except this time, he doesn’t want it to be as cut-throat.

Hill was in the midst of massive contract extension talks with the Chiefs in 2022 and ultimately priced himself out of Kansas City, resulting in him being shipped to Miami in a blockbuster deal where he simultaneously signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Dolphins.

“The only thing I told (agent) Drew (Rosenhaus) was, ‘Do not get me traded, bro. The last time you did this, you got me traded,'” Hill, 30, told reporters Tuesday . “That’s been my only thing to him … I want to stay here in Miami, man. This is where family is now. Everybody loves it here, family loves it, wife loves it, kids love it … Obviously, I love playing for coach [Mike McDaniel], and my teammates are awesome.

“I wouldn’t want to leave, man.”

Hill once seemed like a cornerstone player in Kansas City, but money is always the great equalizer and the Chiefs gambled that they could live without Hill and better allocate their resources elsewhere.

Once it became clear they couldn’t come to terms on a deal that worked for both sides, Hill landed in Miami with $30 million annual average value (AAV) — the highest among receivers.

The deal has seemingly worked for both sides with the Chiefs not missing a beat, winning the last two Super Bowls , while Hill has led the Dolphins to the playoffs each of the last two seasons.

Recent deals have now pushed Hill’s AAV to fourth among receivers, per Spotrac , and it’s possible Hill could be looking to top the new leader in Justin Jefferson ($35 million).

Hill led the NFL in receiving yards last season.

He has two years left on his deal, though, so it’s not yet a pressing matter for Miami, although the Dolphins may be hesitant to invest heavily in a 30-year-old receiver.

Hill spoke highly of his relatively new home in Miami and complimented the fans.

“The fans are awesome, too,” Hill said. “I just love how the fans hold us accountable every day on Twitter. We’re getting better, I promise you. We’re not just sitting around drinking smoothies. We’re getting better.”

While Hill has performed on the field, he has checkered history away from the gridiron.

Hill and his wife Keeta Vaccaro were married in November , during a bye week, after being engaged since 2021. Just a few months later, Hill filed a divorce petition in February after a domestic dispute , although that has since been revoked, and the two no longer appear headed for a split.

Hill was also hit with two paternity suits in December, just a month after his marriage became official.
