It's the first weekend of August! Here are a few events to ring in the new month.
🍷 Sip and Savor all weekend long at Fruit & Spice Park.
- Explore the park with homemade sangria made from the park's mangoes, longan, white sapote and starfruit.

🌿 Visit the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for a coastal conservation education workshop .
- Learn about coastal ecosystems and native plants and participate in a seed-starting workshop.

🎸 Head to Magic 13 Brewing Co for the Miami Girls Rock Camp finale showcase .
- Hear original songs from new bands that formed during the weeklong camp, which aims to empower girls and nonbinary youth through music.
- Saturday, 6:30-10pm. Tickets are $20.
💃 See a dance performance by Siempre Flamenco at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center.
- "Postcards From Spain" features solo and group routines, plus genre acts like a classical guitarist Adam del Monte and flamenco dancer José Junco.
- Saturday, 6pm and 8:30 pm. Sunday, 3:30pm. Tickets start at $30 .
🎞️ For the movie buffs , Spanish Marie Brewery in Kendall, in collaboration with Miami Moviegoers, is screening the 1959 comedy "Some Like It Hot."
- Dress up like your favorite character from the movie. There will also be games and trivia.
- Sunday, 4-8pm. Tickets are $14 .
