Chaotic fandemonium. An unprecedented scene delayed the start of the Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The CONMEBOL event saw a heavy police presence, but clearly not enough of a contingency plan to deal with the throngs of gate crashers.

The 72 Club entrance was destroyed. No telling how much repairs will cost and if anyone will be held responsible for the damage.

Kickoff took place about 90 minutes late after fans without tickets stormed the gates at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami-Dade Police say an officer was hit by a rock thrown by a fan. Active investigations are underway due to the violence leading to several people being taken into custody.

Countless of fans, many who flew in just for the game with tickets running from over $1000 to about $5000 were not able to get in to see the game! No telling if they will be refunded.

Inter Miami star Lionel Messi and the Argentina men's national team took down Columbia 1-0 in extra time at Hard Rock Stadium to win the 2024 Copa America. Lautaro Martinez scored the lone goal of the match in the 112th minute. Messi left the game with an apparent ankle injury in the second half.
