As young men and women get ready to start their freshman year at colleges all over the country, one famous teen’s current situation remains a mystery.
That would be former first son Barron Trump, who graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach back in May.
There have been no formal announcements as to where Barron will be spending the next four years, though his father recently dropped a major clue during an interview with The New York Post.
“He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,” the 78-year-old Republican candidate told the outlet, which reported the institution was in New York State.

Could it be Trump’s alma mater Fordham University in the Bronx? That’s where No. 45, a native of Queens, attended for two years, before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where he has legacy.
A more likely scenario, as the rumor mill suggests, would be Barron going to New York University, located in the East Village of Manhattan.
His mother’s most recent X post adds more fuel to that fire. The 54-year-old Slovenian shared an aerial picture of the Big Apple’s iconic skyline on Tuesday.
“New York City captivated my heart the moment I arrived, 28 years ago today,” the caption said. “This electrifying town isn’t just my home; it’s a colorful canvas where dreams come alive.”

The Trumps famously met at a party there during Fashion Week two years after the onetime model (née Knauss) arrived in 1998. The “Apprentice” star was separated from Marla Maples at the time. They wed in 2005 and still maintain a palatial penthouse apartment at Trump Tower in Midtown. That means if Barron goes to NYU, he could live at home and avoid the unwanted attention he got at Oxbridge, where he was tailed by Secret Service agents at all times, even when he used the restroom.
We doubt there would be any complaints from mom, who famously stayed back with her son after Trump was elected to the White House so that the boy could finish out the school year.
So does Melania’s latest post signal that mom has arrived back in NYC just in time to get Barron settled at NYU? Or was the post just an homage to a great town that has a lot of meaning to her? The Internet likely wants to know.
Regardless, the world should know soon as Trump told the Post an announcement is coming “soon.” As per NYU’s academic calendar, classes start on Tuesday.
