    The city of Miami career page lists the following jobs with a starting salary of about $100,000 a year or more:

    ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS

    Description: Assists with the administrative, managerial, and operational aspects of the Department of Resilience and Public Works.

    Salary range: $102,103.12

    ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ZONING

    Description: Executive position responsible for assisting with directing and overseeing the City’s zoning plan review, interpreting the Zoning Ordinance, assisting with code enforcement programs, and the execution of all other zoning related processes.

    Salary range: $102,103.12

    Deadline: 5 p.m. Sept. 13

    BUSINESS ANALYST

    Description: Responsible for work eliciting, analyzing, identifying and validating the business needs of departmental operations, procedures, policies, work methods and organizational structures.

    Salary range: $79,789.63 - $165,876.88 A

    CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

    Description: Responsible for managing building, roadway infrastructure, or drainage construction projects for the city.

    DIRECTOR OF BUILDING

    Description: Responsible for directing, administering and managing departmental activities and professional/technical employees engaged in providing interpretations and enforcement of the Miami City Code, Florida Building Code and related regulations

    Salary range: $123,615.76 - $256,984.80

    DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPME NT

    Description: Responsible for planning, directing and administering the development and implementation of social services, neighborhood redevelopment and affordable housing projects for the City of Miami.

    EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

    Description: Responsible for planning and directing the administrative and operational activities of the Emergency Operations Center and all issues related to Emergency Management, Homeland Security and all City-wide hazard prevention, response and preparedness planning.

    Salary range: $76,419.20 - $158,870.40

    STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PLANS EXAMINER

    Description: Responsible for structural engineering analysis/review of buildings as mandated by the Florida Building Code.

    Salary: $97,538.27 - $202,775.04

    TRAFFIC ENGINEER

    Description: This is advanced professional engineering work of a supervisory nature in the office and the field in connection with the planning, modeling, analysis, design, installation, investigation, maintenance and development of traffic and transportation engineering projects.
