Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the twin sons of two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, have narrowed their college choices to the University of Miami and Duke, according to multiple sources, and are expected to announce their decision in the coming days.

The Boozer twins play for Columbus High School in Miami and are among the nation’s most coveted recruits in the Class of 2025.

Cameron is the top power forward and No. 2 player in the country, according to 247Sports Composite. Cayden is rated the No. 4 point guard in the nation and No. 21 player overall.

They have fielded offers from top programs, including Florida, Florida State, Kentucky and North Carolina, but their deepest ties are with their hometown Hurricanes team and Duke, their father’s alma mater.

Carlos Boozer played for the Blue Devils from 1999 to 2002 and won the 2001 national title under coach Mike Krzyzewski.

The twins are also quite familiar with the Hurricanes program and have a longtime relationship with coach Jim Larranaga and his staff.

“Miami’s like 15 minutes from my house, so I’ve been able to see them play since I was a really young kid, I used to go to Coach Larranaga’s camp, so I know the coaching staff very well,” Cayden said during a January 2024 interview with Yahoo Sports. “Coach L still has some photos of us at the camp. That’s something they’re definitely pushing, to be the hometown kid.”

As for his official visit to Duke, Cayden said: “It was a great visit. They played Arizona when I went there, it was a great atmosphere.”

The twins have won three consecutive high school state championships with Columbus and three Nike EYBL Peach Jam Championships with Nightrydas. In three seasons at Columbus, Cameron Boozer has averaged 20.7 points per game, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.1 blocks. Cayden Boozer has averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.8 steals.
