Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night in Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3, packed with 120 mph winds.

Milton — which had twice been a Category 5 before making landfall — caused multiple fatalities, a series of tornadoes, millions of power outages and serious incidents of wind damage across Florida, even blowing the roof off of Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.

The storm’s impacts spanned hundreds of miles across the state, from Siesta Key, where it made landfall on the Gulf Coast, all the way to the other side of the peninsula in Broward County, where a tornado touched down near Alligator Alley.
