Todd Chrisley isn’t having a great month.

The fallen reality star was recently fired from his job at the chapel inside Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum, who is almost two years in to a 12-year sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion, was let go for being too chatty , his lawyer, Jay Surgent, told Us Weekly.

The 55-year-old patriarch’s voluntary gig as a chaplain’s administrative assistant saw him overseeing services for Christian, Jewish and Muslim inmates.

“Someone saw him speaking to someone in the drug rehabilitation program,” Surgent explained of the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). “For no reason, after all this time, he’s dismissed saying he can’t do it anymore.”

Individuals in RDAP are not full time prisoners, and have access to the outside world, and the folks at the prison apparently didn’t want Chrisley closely associating with them.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons released a statement to TMZ on the ex real estate mogul’s recent dismissal.

“For privacy reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including their work detail assignment.”

Chrisley hasn’t been quiet about many matters since beginning his stretch in January 2023. He’s been vocal to anyone who would listen about how unhappy he is with his current situation.

Myriad complaints with the facility have included poor air conditioning, zero privacy and no hair dye at the commissary.

“It’s a nightmare,” his daughter Savannah Chrisley said last summer in an “Unlocked” podcast. “It’s awful.”
