QUAPAW, Okla. — A Missouri man died after he was struck and killed near the Oklahoma-Missouri state line, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Edward Parker, 63, of Cuba, Mo., was fatally injured near mile marker 125 around 4 a.m. on Monday, the patrol reported.

    The crash remains under investigation.

The crash occurred six miles east of Quapaw, which prompted troopers to close the westbound lane of the Will Rogers Turnpike for over six hours.

Terry Danley, 40, of Miami, Okla. and Cortney Diggs, 30, of Carthage, Mo. were driving separate automobiles and were not injured in the crash, the patrol reported.
