NEO Alum Bethy Mununga to Compete in 2024 Paris Olympics

MIAMI, OK – Another athlete with local ties to the four states is set to compete in the 2024 Olympics. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College alum Bethy Mununga will represent her native Belgium in women’s basketball.

Mununga would play for the Lady Norse from 2017-2019, where she would be selected as a two time all-American. During her time in Miami, Mununga ranked third in career points (1,035) and first in career rebounds (795).

After her time at NEO, she would transfer to division one University of South Florida where she would also have a stellar career. Belgium’s first game in the 2024 Olympics is set for Monday, July 29th, against Germany at 6:30 p.m. CST.
