Retired Greater Cincinnati police K9 passes away
BLUE ASH, Ohio (WKRC) - A Blue Ash police officer is mourning the loss of his retired K9 partner. Yaro worked with handler Dane Billingsley when he was with the Cincinnati Police Department. He specialized in detecting drugs and tracking people. He died on July 25.
Pastor Eugene Ellington: A man of God who loved God’s People
Pastor Ellington was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 26, 1952. He was the second eldest of four children, born to the late Deacon James and Levonia Ellington. He accepted Christ at an early age at Southern Baptist Church on Richmond and Cutter. Gene attended Cincinnati Public schools. During his school days, his passion was playing the saxophone.
Police: Man arrested after shots fired through windows of Florence gas station
FLORENCE, Ky. — One person was arrested Monday after several shots were fired through the windows of a gas station in Florence. According to the Florence Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 8600 block of U.S. Highway 42 for a report of shots fired at a Speedway gas station.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A complex of thunderstorms will be moving across southern Ohio and into West Virginia this morning. Thunderstorms will be more likely around Jackson County and towards the south for the morning commute, but rain chances will still be around towards the north. Our potential for showers and storms today will wane through the morning, but a few showers will still be possible around noon. When we enter the afternoon and evening, we will be looking at drier weather with a decrease in cloud cover. Expect the evening commute to be overall quiet across the Mid-Ohio Valley. However, it is still going to be quite humid.
