people in small tribes don't have to pay for water they just have to go out and find it transport it make sure it's pure and then find somewhere to store it . once again if you had your own vegetable garden and spent time growing your own vegetables you wouldn't have to pay for them. I don't think anybody stopping you from doing that.. no you're spoiled you have a luxury that you're accustomed to and don't want to do without so you choose to pay for it
