Personal Opinion:First, my heart goes to the teacher the student assaulted. However, it appears that the teen implicated in this incident has been subjected to unfair treatment. The school system and the educators didn't adhere to the child's special educational rights as specified in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). It is a shame that those in power collude to punish the child instead of addressing their mistakes. Sentencing postponed & parents filed a lawsuit against the school.
