Ryan Daly Selected as President of Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan

Ryan Daly will rejoin Corewell Health in mid-August as the new president of Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan. He succeeds Margaret Casey, who recently retired.

Daly previously worked in various Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan leadership positions for a decade. He left about two years ago to become the vice president for university advancement at his alma mater, John Carroll University, a private Jesuit university in University Heights, Ohio (near Cleveland) .

“Many of our leaders and major donors told me about Ryan’s meaningful relationships with both community members and colleagues within our organization. After I talked with him, it was clear Ryan is deeply committed to southeast Michigan,” says Lamont Yoder, president of Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan. “We are thrilled to welcome him back to our organization.”

Daly says he and his family are eager to return to Michigan.

“I am excited to be rejoining Corewell Health and the remarkable team of caregivers and professionals dedicated to providing extraordinary care,” Daly says. “The story of Corewell is one of a longstanding partnership between the health system and the community working together for our patients, families, and neighbors.

Daly was previously a member of the Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan team that raised more than $370 million to support patient care in the area. He helped develop the Foundation’s strategic vision and managed multiple areas and high-level philanthropic projects. In addition, he was responsible for the planning of many comprehensive campaigns.

“I worked with Ryan for many years and saw first-hand his commitment and dedication to both Corewell Health and philanthropy. He is a truly talented leader and the perfect person to lead our Foundation into the future,” says Warren Rose, chairman of Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan.

Daly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration from John Carroll University.
