absurd. why get an entire community upset about a policy that that's completely unenforceable? giving WILDLY underpaid school workers another reason not to show up. the side door was WIDE OPEN ALL SUMMER LONG WHILE MY CHILDREN ATTENDED CAMP IN THIS BUILDING.. thank God at least one of my children could contact me personally and immediately if necessary.

City of Poughkeepsie schools must not think a lot of kids won’t come to school with an old phone to put in the pouch and keep their real phone on them. They should at least be able to use their phone during lunch. How many kids won’t go to school because they can’t use their phone.
