Rite Aid closing 10 more stores in Ohio as total nears 150: Here are the latest locations to shutter
CLEVELAND — The rash of Rite Aid closings in Ohio is continuing. As the pharmacy chain continues to battle its way through Chapter 11 bankruptcy, it is also closing more and more stores in the Buckeye State. According to documents filed on July 22 and July 26 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 40 additional stores will be shuttered in Ohio and Michigan. Ten of the 40 locations closing are in Ohio.

Bunny Hoppers hold last meeting of 2024
VAN WERT—Bunny Hoppers 4-H Club held its last regular meeting of the year on Monday, July 22 at the Extension Office. The meeting was led by President Ella Lamb. Kealey Welch gave a safety speech on rabbit showmanship. Junior Fair entries must be completed by August 16. Meat pens and single fryers must weigh between four and six pounds. Tattooing of meat rabbits will be on August 10 from 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Livestock judging is on August 6 with no appointment needed.

Delphos Police Officer Fitzgerald was named Delphos City Schools’ School Resource Officer last year and this year, and this year, he spearheaded bringing the children’s educational program Safety City to Delphos.
YMCA’s Free Youth Golf Clinic a Swinging Success
VAN WERT — From July 15th to 19th, the YMCA hosted its annual free youth golf clinic at Hickory Sticks Golf Club, welcoming 58 eager participants aged 7 to 12. The clinic was a wonderful opportunity for local kids to immerse themselves in the fundamentals of golf, learning essential skills such as putting, chipping, and using long irons.
