A Wind Advisory has been issued for southwest wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph between 9 am this morning and midnight tonight.

Well, Spring has returned to Middle Tennessee, but so have the winds. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a wind advisory at some point on Wednesday. And the off-and-on rainy pattern is sticking with us for a while. So layers folks: Windbreaker and jeans to windbreaker and shorts Wednesday afternoon.

SEVERE WEATHER ALERT 2-16,2023 Mid-Morning Update
Many are wondering about the timing of severe storms and what to expect in Middle Tennessee. Most everyone agrees we will be paying close attention from noon to 5 or 6 for our reading area. There has been a slight elevation in tornado chances this afternoon. Most will see a “break” which will allow the atmosphere to recharge so to speak. Flash flooding remains a strong possibility and hail could be seen in some areas.
