WEATHER 4-11-2024 Storms, Winds, Rains Continue
Good news is we are going to dry out this weekend! But, before we get there….. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 67. South wind 15 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
WEATHER – Strong To Severe Storms Possible , Rain Continues 4-10-2024
Straight-line winds are expected to be of a concern Wednesday afternoon to evening and another inch of rain is possible on already soaked ground, so flooding will begin to be of a concern. We won’t see a break until Friday and a huge mostly dry and warm weekend ahead in the forecast.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect this afternoon. We are seeing the atmosphere starting to de-stabilize again after the first round of storms, and we may see some peaks of sunshine soon in parts of the mid-state. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Tornado Watch isn’t extended this afternoon for some, and those in South Central Middle Tennessee should be weather-aware as storms cross the state line.

Unfortunately, this is not an April’s Fool joke. Tomorrow is predicted to get nasty. And then there will be a major temperature drop. Tuesday there is an enhanced chance of severe weather with high winds and localized flooding the biggest threats. Tornadoes and large hail are also of concern. We will monitor beginning early tomorrow morning and keep you up-to-date on timing as the front gets closer. right now for our coverage area of middle Tennessee, we are looking mid-morning through your afternoon drive.
