ALBANY — On Friday, the Capital Region’s Sydney Worthley will be celebrating the release of her latest record, “It Was Nice While it Lasted,” with a themed event at The Hollow. Performing alongside her band, Worthley is set to make the night special for those in attendance by leaning into the 1980s both in sound and aesthetic. This 12-track collection of songs — Worthley’s second full-length effort, and third project overall — is rife with nostalgic synths, and crystal clear production values of yesteryear’s pop stars. Five injured after juveniles crash into CDTA bus
Five people had minor injuries after police said juveniles driving a stolen vehicle crashed into a CDTA bus in Albany. The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Monday, July 15 at the intersection of Quail Street and Sherman Street. The occupants of the vehicle left the scene, Albany Police said.
TikTok star opens ‘pretty alright’ diner in Upstate NY

Man stabbed in Schenectady Tuesday morning, police say
Schenectady, NY (WRGB) — Schenectady Police Lt. Ryan Macherone told CBS 6 Tuesday, a man was stabbed in the upper chest, reportedly following an altercation. Police responded to the area of State Street and Broadway Tuesday at 8:44 a.m., for reports of a male that was stabbed. The 48 -year-old male with a stab wound to the upper chest was located at the scene, according to police, and conscious when officers arrived.

The Hudson Valley has fallen victim to a slew of cyber attacks in recent months, compromising important information from both local organizations and individuals.
