Elkhart Public Library hosts free community party to celebrate Summer Reading
ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Public Library announced it will celebrate a record-setting Summer Reading Challenge on Thursday at the Tolson Center for Community Excellence. I&M: Less than 3,000 customers remain without power following storms
(WPTA) - Indiana Michigan Power shares that as of 9 p.m. Tuesday, only about 2,900 customers are still without power. Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) has provided another update after 16,000 customers were without power Tuesday morning after a line of thunderstorms moved through the area. I&M says more than 70% of those affected have had their power restored noting that less than 8,000 customers are without power as of 1 p.m.

An effort to get more cans of emergency drinking water to local fire departments is underway, thanks to Anheuser-Busch and the National Volunteer Fire Council.
