Change-of-Command for USS Delaware
A change-of-command ceremony was held last week for the USS Delaware pierside at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut. Commander Robert Low turned over command of the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine to Commander Jason Patton, who has served previously on four other submarines. Delaware was commissioned in April of 2020 and has a crew of over 130 personnel and is assigned to Submarine Squadron 12.
