AMBOY ROAD RESURFACING - BETWEEN NJSH ROUTE 34 AND MIDDLESEX COUNTY ROUTE 516 (OLD BRIDGE – MATAWAN ROAD)
On Wednesday June 26, 2024, Middlesex County Department of Public Works will begin resurfacing of Amboy Road in three stages. Road work will begin at 7am and end around 3pm, daily, for approximately 9 business days, weather permitting. During construction of each phase, the southbound direction will be opened to thru traffic while the northbound direction will be detoured. Access will be provided to local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail carrier, deliveries, and trash haulers. Please avoid Amboy Road and plan alternate route during construction activities.
