YORK, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say seven firefighters were injured when two tanker trucks crashed while responding to a large blaze in York, Pennsylvania. Officials said the crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Friday in Spring Garden Township, about a third of a mile from the large warehouse fire in the city.

Walter J. Williams 83 of Harrisburg, died Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home. Walter was born in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Jack and Joyce Williams. He was retired from the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, Harrisburg, where he was a shift supervisor. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served two tours, and in 1987 he retired from the U.S. Air Force, after 28 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and Hunters & Anglers Club. He enjoyed watching old western movies and the Hallmark Channel, and cruising on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
