Police release details in fatal I-81 crash Sunday in Silver Spring Township
State Police at Carlisle released further details about a triple-fatal crash on Interstate 81 in Silver Spring Township Sunday afternoon. Police said the driver of a tractor-trailer, Melake Zeresenay, 29, of Seattle, Washington, was traveling in the left lane of I-81 north when he attempted to merge into the right lane at 1:53 p.m. Sunday. However, police said Zeresenay realized there was a car in the right lane and attempted to get back into the left lane but lost control of the tractor-trailer.
