Carlisle passes zoning ordinance change to allow fee in lieu of parking spaces
Carlisle’s borough council Thursday night approved a zoning ordinance change to allow a fee in lieu of parking spaces. According to borough’s website, the change will allow developers to pay the borough rather than establishing on-site parking spaces. This could provide funds to help meet parking demands and allow for the reuse of older buildings that don’t have the required number of spaces.
