Firefighters respond to fire at the Starbucks plant in Manchester Township
Firefighters responded to a call about a fire at the Starbucks roasting plant in Manchester Township Thursday afternoon, according to York County 911. The call came in at 12:42 p.m. for a report of a fire on the roof of the coffee-bean roasting plant in the 3000 block of Espresso Way, 911 reported. The fire was extinguished at 1:20 p.m., but firefighters sounded a second alarm for more manpower to assist in the cleanup, 911 reported.
Harrisburg man sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for odometer tampering
HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg man has been sentenced for his role in an odometer tampering scheme. According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, on July 10, Earnest Fry, 49, was sentenced to 30 months in jail by U.S. District Judge Christopher C. Conner following his conviction for odometer tampering and forging vehicle titles.
