Teen's Death from 'One Chip Challenge' Sparks Lawsuit Against Hershey, Walgreens, and Others
A lawsuit was filed against Hershey, Walgreens, and others in the case of Harris Wolobah, a Massachusetts teen who died after participating in the "One Chip Challenge" on social media. Harris, a 10th grader from Worcester, died last September after eating a Paqui chip containing a high concentration of capsaicin. The autopsy indicated that Harris suffered cardiopulmonary arrest due to ingesting the spicy chip, compounded by a congenital heart defect. The family's attorney claims the defendants created a "perfect storm" leading to Harris's death by producing and selling the dangerous chip and promoting the challenge online.

A Massachusetts family is suing Hershey and Walgreens months after their 14-year-old son died due to his participation in the viral "One Chip Challenge." Lois Wolobah, the mother of Harris Wolobah, claims the companies contributed to the wrongful death of her son on the morning of Sept. 1, 2023, when he ate a Paqui “One Chip Challenge” product.

Harrisburg man sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for odometer tampering
HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg man has been sentenced for his role in an odometer tampering scheme. According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, on July 10, Earnest Fry, 49, was sentenced to 30 months in jail by U.S. District Judge Christopher C. Conner following his conviction for odometer tampering and forging vehicle titles.

Multiple dogs with parvo found in York County
YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Multiple dogs in York City have been diagnosed with canine parvovirus, or “parvo,” a highly contagious disease that affects dogs. The York County SPCA says this week they admitted two unvaccinated dogs that became symptomatic and tested positive for parvo.
